Today was the start of my short weekend. I didn't expect to do anything today because I am poor and have no moneys. My mum ended up inviting me to go and buy a birthday cake for my brother, Huan, because his birthday is tomorrow. Be sure to say happy birthday to him! I didn't want to take a shower and get ready just for my local "shopping plaza" so I tried convincing my mum to take me somewhere better. She agreed to go somewhere else but I just had to get ready and wait for my dad to come back with the car so we could leave.
When I was getting ready, my dad was already home and asked where I was going. I told him about getting the cake, but not telling him how far we were intending to go. He then gave me money to put petrol in the car and money for the school week. I never use the money for school anyways so it was my money for the day. We ended up going to Parramatta Westfields and yeah. FUN.
It took forever to get parking but we finally ended up parking where we had stopped the car to watch for people leaving. We ate, drank, went around looking for stuff. My mum ended up buying my brother a lottery ticket? I was trying to tell her not to but then she got all pissy and started saying "Don't be like your dad and telling me to not buy things" and rah rah rah rah! So I just told her she can do whatever she wants, knowing in my head that my brother would rather the money than the ticket that he'll probably get nothing for. And if he does, I know that there will be some kind of "I told you so" look coming from my mum.
After that, I forced my mum to go to Toys R Us with me because I was thinking I might buy something small for my brother from there. Yeah, he's actually turning 24 but...he likes toys. Like something robotic would be great. But I couldn't find something in my price range (close to nothing) but whatever he can get from me is pretty generous already. I hardly ever buy presents for family because my sister always buys the present and I put my name on it. But that means I have to buy my sister a present because yeah.
Then we went into BORDERS ♥ because I wanted to find PAPERTOWNS by John Green. Yey go nerdfighters! But yeah, obviously it's not in Australia yet because I think it just released in the US but I ended up finding Looking for Alaska by Mr Green and I've read a bit of it and I'm going to declare John Green as my new favourite author. I just told my mum and said that i'm planning to buy the rest of his books and she said "Be patient, i'll buy it for you next week" So YAY! I'm going to try and get them off amazon but I have to ask danny about that.
I also bought my brothers present in Borders. It's this catapult type thing that shoots out tiny pigs. He once made a little gun thing out of a pen and let me play around with it, so I guess it fits. I also told my mum to buy this scarface keyring that talks, it's like my superbad one (H) but yeah, because my brother loves scarface and has this poster up on his wall with scarface on it. I ended up buying the funniest card ever...for him. It was pure luck, because it was on the bottom of the shelf and I was very near giving up. I ended up buying Pride and Prejudice as well, the Popular Penguins edition. This is because we're buying our books for Year 12 on Friday, so I wanted a Popular Penguins book instead of whatever book we're getting just to be safe because I want the whole collection, eventually. I didn't want to skip Pride and Prejudice just because my stupid school made me buy their version (by the way, I'm not sure what it is, it might actually be the popular penguin book, but better safe than not!).
After that, we went around for a bit, I checked in Dymocks as well to see if they had Paper Towns but they don't have ANY of John Green's books :(
I went into SMIGGLE to find a new pencilcase for the new year, but I didn't like any of them, because nothing can beat my pencilcase (also from smiggle, which they didn't have in stock anymore! :O!). I just hope it doesn't break any time soon :S
We went into Forever New, which has the prettiest clothes ever. Mum ended up buying a shirt, which was awesome because she hardly gets things for herself. So yay, everyones happy. We had to go home a bit early because we still needed to buy a cake for my brother. We ended up at my local "shopping plaza" when everything was closing and managed to buy the cake before the place closed. So yeah! AWESOME. I also went into woolies to get a few things, I ended up buying Palmer's coacoa butter lotion (THE PINK ONE THAT SUPPORTS BREAST CANCER!) because i've been meaning to get it for quite some time. It is awesome because it's a lotion AND it smells like awesomeness.
Anyways, here's a few pictures of the things bought today:

♥ (JUST CHECKED AMAZON AND THEY HAVE A BETTER COVER FOR THE BOOK :( OH WELL!)
It's funny cause my brother and I are computer type people:

ZOMG IT'S PINK! This time, they're giving 30c. Bit better than razzamatazz. Both can do better though.
Anyways, I hope I can buy the books soon! I'm reading Looking for Alaska really slowly because I'm savouring it. Hehehe
Blog to yah soon!
BYE BYE! ♥
