Well it feels like it anyways. It's because I've been writing pointless blog entries that are like 1/4 of what i'd usually write. I think this blog entry is going to be a long one because I have nothing else to do and it's a Friday night and i'm depressed because I have nothing else to do. (DAMN MY FRIENDS FOR NOT HAVING A HALLOWEEN PARTY! - It wouldn't be as good as those american halloween parties though...shame.)
So finally i've attended school for the whole week since the beginning of term. Three weeks in and i've already taken a day off. My body decided to get sick after 10 or so months of being sickless. At the beginning of the term. Great. But that was last week, and I should be talking about this week so i'll stop talking about it.
Monday felt horrible, just like any other monday. Tuesday was extra horrible because it started off with DOUBLE ITM which meant that my teacher droned on about pixels, bits and bytes. I couldn't care less, although the lesson challenged me to stay awake during that period of time. Even though it started off bad, it ended well with my coming home and finding a package with my sisters name on it (even though I knew it was for me)!
It was from the book depository AND from the UK. My two favourite things in the world! Something to do with books and the United Kingdom! Anyways, I opened up the package and there she was! Happy Margo staring back at me. Hello Paper Towns! Nice to meet you!
I was disappointed because my book hadn't come yet. And I made such a fuss about it because I thought I was supposed to get my books together (I ordered both Paper Towns and An Abundance of Katherines, both by the magnificent John Green), so I emailed the book depository and asked them if they sent their books separately. They emailed back really quickly (Thankyou!), starting the email with "Dear Mr or Ms". Well if I weren't offended, I'd find it funny. But yeah, I guess you can't tell if my sisters name is either a guys or a girls if you aren't asian. Haha but anyways, they said that they have different suppliers and so they might send the books at different times. Alas, I had to wait for the next book to come in the mail...again!
Wednesday morning, was kind of late for school and a mailman came to the door and put down a package whilst saying Good Morning! I ran to the door and picked up the package and it ended up being addressed to one of my brothers friends. First of all, he doesn't even LIVE here, and second of all, WHAT THE FRESH HELL?
Anyways, I was a bit angry about that, because I got all my hopes up and I literally screamed when I was running towards the door, which I THINK the postman heard. A TAD embarrassing, but i'll live.
I knew the day wasn't going to get any better, with double business looming in on me. Double Business in the morning as well. So much work had to be done, it didn't disappoint any of my expectations.
Thursday, the best day - because I get to leave early at 1 (Every week. "It's a year 12 priveledge") It's meant for studying but i'm not sure if anyone has actually done that when they've left early, except for the weeks close to the exams. Ancient started off with a bang. Literally. My teacher took out all of his frustrations (probably from home) out onto these girls in my class. He yelled. We were in the library. The place where things should be quiet.
Well it sure as hell was quiet after that!
We had year assembly as well, where we discussed what our jerseys would look like. Hana made an excellent point that the choices were too blue. I mean, we already wear enough blue...PLUS we'll have to wear our jersey with our too blue skirt or our too blue sports shorts/pants. We have to write a formal complaint about it because Barham said they'll take us seriously if it is in writing. And it should be important if we're actually bothered to write a formal complaint about it!
Today, Friday. Ah, the last day of the school week! I knew it would be a bad day when my mum couldn't find my school socks and I had to wear one clean one and one dirty one (Shut up, it wasn't REALLY dirty, I just wore them yesterday and yesterdays school day was short anyways!)
I hadn't done any homework because the night before I had tried finishing Paper Towns at night. Bad idea. I had to stay up and I did actually do SOME of the homework, bits and pieces of each subject, hoping I could get away with it or even do it during homeroom or the period before the subject. I ended up doing my homework in the first period but even though I had homework for the first period, the teacher didn't check, but I knew my teacher for Business would check.
When I was doing the homework, my teacher decided to do KK for our class. We had to re-draw our people about 4 times (maybe more). I'm not going to tell you what I did for my KK already or say who it was because they might find out about my blog. But I kind of like KKs, it's a bit fun when you don't know who has you, but it'll only be good if you don't speculate.
Next lesson was Business and my teacher wasn't even there! What a waste of time and effort! Oh well.
Let me explain to you why Friday is the worst day of the school week.
Every day (Other than friday) we either have a double at the beginning of the day or a pastoral care lesson or have frees (Let's not forget about the 4 period Thursdays because we leave at 1!). That means we only have 5 subjects (on average) each day. 5 out of my 7 subjects. That means less homework due on the day because there are less subjects.
Friday has 6 subjects out of my 7.
Lunch was something to remember. I came up with this little epic scene that I think I will put into a movie if I ever become a director. I won't tell because I just came up with the idea of writing a novel. I've come up with a few things (small scenes) but they'll be insignificant, however, they will be epic. I will write about my progress, but I haven't really come up with a story line yet.
Julie wants seamonkeys for Christmas.
Julie: So what? They just swim around? Like fish?
Thuy: Yeah but you can actually train them to do tricks
Julie: REALLY?
Thuy: Yeah! It comes in a set, like they give you an instruction manual on how to train them
Cat: Yeah and they give you like this model of a seamonkey and you can use it to model or demonstrate to the seamonkey what to do.
Julie: WOW! I want one now!!!
Thuy: Yeah...they even give you like obstacle courses where you can make it swim through the little hoops and everything!
It was really hot at school today. One of those days where the heat doesn't move, theres no wind and you feel as if you're about to die.
After school, mum picked me up (as per usual) AND A PACKAGE WAS IN MY SEAT (!!!) and alas! I have An Abundance of Katherines. We also went into ALDI (for the first time - well for me) because my dad wanted this memory stick. The place looks totally different compared to Woolies or Franklins, well in my opinion. But I ended up buying Iceblocks AND...wait for it! CURLY FRIES! How friggin awesome! I'm going to buy like so much more because they taste delicious! You can't buy them like in Woolies or whatever, so I guess that's what sets them apart. (I officially love curly fries)
Oh well, I guess that's it actually. I should be getting back to reading. I hope Hana reads Catcher in the Rye (I gave it to her to borrow) because she wants me to encourage her to read. I told her I want the book back on Monday so that she'll read faster. Also...I think John Green has given me the inspiration to write a novel, isn't that strange? That just shows how much of a good writer he is!
Also, Megan wanted me to mention her in the blog entry so I am. She is such an awesome person and I might actually name one of my characters in my story after her.
I know i've forgotten to mention some things, but that'll just have to wait until my memory comes back!
♥ BYEBYE!
I'll blog soon because I have no life and it is the weekend (HURRAH!)
Happy Halloween everyone!
