First days back at school
On Thursday, I came back to school for about 2 hours to chat to the new Year 7 girls in my house.
We played some name games, so Katie, Matilda, Angela and I were supposed to learn the names. I failed. The rest were really good at learning the girls' names but I just couldn't get them stuck in my head.
I cheated :) because I knew one of the girls from primary so I kept calling out her name hahaha.
Anyways, I had my first day back at school yesterday (FRIDAY).
It just felt like normal, except I had a new homeroom to go to and a new locker.
I think it's because I didn't get any new teachers that it felt just the same because we're just continuing with last terms classes.
It feels a bit weird though, because I'm in Year 12 and yeah... we're the ones that the younger girls look up to (I guess?).
AND also...
Angela surprised me with 6 balloons on sticks which were very hard to hold together.
Everyone kinda figured that it was my birthday, well at least it was sometime ago (IS IT YOUR BIRTHDAY?? No... my birthday was in the holidays. Oh!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!).
She also made me a poster of which I LOVE.
Thankyou for going through all that trouble to make it :)
ANDDDDD she bought me this AWESOME singing Harry Potter CARD.

Whilst in the shower, I thought that I should set up a few goals for this year (As you do when you're in the shower).
And so far, these are my goals:
1. Get a UAI above 94.2 (To get into my course at UTS)
2. If 1 fails, get above 90.
3. Get a Silver Award
4. Get a Gold Award
5. Get above 85% for the rest of my assessments this year.
6. Get to know most of the girls in Fitzroy, and other houses.
7. Lose weight. (!!!MUST STICK TO DIET!!!)
That's about it so far.
It's mostly about school so yeah.
I'll be working hard this year to achieve the goals, so I don't know if I'll have alot of time to blog. I'll definitely try and blog during the weekends though! :)

I had a dream about two YouTubers.

An outlet for thinking
I just finished reading a book that Jenny let me borrow.
It's about 2AM at the moment and I've just finished reading it and I'm not tired because I spent practically half of the day sleeping.
I guess I just felt like writing something about what I was feeling at this very moment. There are so many things that I want to say but I just feel like it'll be a superficial thing to say, just in case other people may feel the same way at times.
I just don't feel like I should be copying other peoples' feelings.
Sometimes I hope that my closest friends know how much I appreciate them for being my friend. I don't even want them to read it in case it just sounds really tacky or insincere, but I read something about a man who always let everyone know how he felt about them, and he would be happy if he were to pass on because he'd know that they knew how much they meant to him. And I guess I want to always have in the back of my mind that the people that matter most to me know how much they mean to me, even if I'm afraid to admit it. I sometimes feel unworthy of even having them there and I put them up on a pedastool because I just think that they're the most wonderful people that anyone can get to know, and if anyone does get the chance to know them as well as I do, they'll be very lucky people.
These people are two very close friends of mine. I don't know what else to say because if I try too much, I know it's not what I actually want to say. If they were reading this, I'd want it to be perfect. But I just can't think of what else I can say. I just hope that it's not one of those friendships that fade. I hope it stays the same over the years.
To my not so close friends, thank you for putting up with me. I know I'm a very distant person sometimes but I guess you just haven't seen the real me yet. Maybe you will someday. I hope you do.
To my friends who are disappointed that I didn't mention them, I'm sorry. I am quite close to alot of people but I just felt it necessary to write something about them. You should know that I appreciate that you're even my friend!
To my family, I love you guys so much. I couldn't think of another family like us. I'm proud to be apart of this family because of how close we are. I know that there have been some bad times but we always get over it. To my Dad, I know that I'm probably not the daughter that you would've wished for because I'm as stubborn as you are. I'm the only one that will fight back to you even though my sister and my brothers tell me not to egg you on because I just feel like I should stand up for what I think is right. I hope you're proud of me though, even if I'm not the ideal daughter of yours. To my mum, I'd like to thank you more than dad, even though I should love you both equally the same. I do, but I just think there's more to thank you for. I know I'm really hard to handle sometimes (most of the time) and I thank you for not throwing me out a window or something. Thanks for being my friend at around the time Vy spent less time with me and more time with her other friends. Thankyou for everything that you have done for me.
To my big brother Huan, we aren't as close but when we get to talk seriously then it makes me happy. I don't think you know how much I love it when we get to have some special time together or we just click, because when that happens, everything just feels right. And that is with all of the other people I click with. Thanks for being the joker of the family, I learnt my stuff from you.
To my other big brother Vuong, over the past few weeks since Tabby has gone, we have spent alot more time together. Especially since Vy wasn't there either. Thank you for being there and being able to feel comfortable just hanging out with me because I don't think that many brothers and sisters do that these days, especially those with our age gap, even though it's not very far. I find it very special to hear these stories that you tell me because I feel that it's something personal, especially coming from you. I'm glad I could be there to listen to all of your stories and aspirations. I wish you get everything that you want. (You'll be my dietition one day!)
I felt it was necessary to leave you as the last "family member" I wrote to. To my bigger sister Vy. Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for trying to understand me when you can't. Don't think that I'm just being another teenage girl going through different dramas when I talk to you and tell you stories, listen to me. Think of me as your little sister and as someone different from all those out there. I think I want to be separated from them and not be included, even though sometimes I do feel like I want to be included. We are probably the closest sisters I know. I love that our whole family is probably the closest (relationship wise). This isn't the most perfect thing to write about you, but I hope you already know what you mean. You've helped me for so long and I just wish you get whatever you want... and I know you do anyways!
In conclusion, I have come to realise that I feel bad about mostly everything. When it comes down to it, I always find the negative things in what I think about... but I don't want to. I know I'm probably built that way and if I tried to change that, I wouldn't be able to, but I can always hope. This blog entry is very long, and I have a feeling that people won't read it, which is a good thing... because I want to read this when I forget how things mean to me.
I will re-read this tomorrow and hopefully I don't regret writing this.

I've decided
my life will be complete when I can actually own the Freaks and Geeks DVD that works with my DVD player, as all I can find are Freaks and Geeks DVDs for Region 1 players.
Unfortunately, I do not live in the US or Canada. Therefore, I fail.

My Diet.
Six meals a day.
Small portions...
And ALOT of "Fat Free" Or "Light" foods.
To give you an example I've taken a picture of my recent purchases of the "SNACKS" that I can eat:
You might be saying "Ooo Thuy! Why do you sound like you're whinging? At least you can have Dairy Milk Light Ice Cream!"
Well I'll tell you this:
I CAN ONLY HAVE ABOUT 2 TABLESPOONS OF IT!

My mum
is worried that I'm a leso.

I think it's because I'm looking at my friends' pictures from summer.
They're mostly beachy pictures.
As a matter of fact, I do feel quite lezzie when I look at them... :S

CONGRATULATIONS to all the people who got accepted into their courses for Uni next year! (especially Lena, Jack, Anthony and most importantly, my big brother Vuong!)

The Arctic Monkeys'
concert is in THREE days.
I just read that they were here since NYE.
They snuck into Sydney (in the northern beaches) for the hot Aussie summer.
What a bummer that I didn't know that before (just... to be aware of this stuff. I SWEAR! Not for any stalking purposes..).
They're on tour now for the Big Day Out shows.
So they aren't in Sydney at the moment but they WILL be soon!
*Goes all fan-girlie over AM*
I duno, I'm not really excited for the concert for some reason
Oh well, I guess it's because I've been waiting a while for it

laziness at its best
My brother has this whole set up.
His massive desktop screen is adjustable so you can move the screen to face you and move it up and down and all that.
I currently have it facing me, whilst sitting on his bed with his wirelss keyboard and mouse..
His mouse also has this right click button that zooms in on things and I'm using it to look at certain things and yeah.
I'm also currently listening to Empire of the sun - walking on a dream, which is really soothing.
Ahhh... this is the life!

Youtube Comments
I just watched Alan's new fiveawesomeguys video.
His punishment was to post a whole week of videos as the five guys.
Today, he was Charlie with a whole blogtv effect.
(It was great!)
In the vid his friend said that she only watches Charlie and Alex.
Alex - because he cries if you don't watch his videos.
I was browsing through the comments and I found this:

Favourite bands
Well... usually I'd say that my favourite band of all time is Arctic Monkeys.
But that doesn't mean I listen to them all the time!
I hardly ever listen to them anymore but I guess that's because I want to save that for the concert.
But after The Kooks' concert, I've been listening to their music more and more.
That's strange, but I guess I always fall in love with a band after I've seen them play live.
Anyways, I was browsing the Triple J site and found The Kooks' Like a Version.
They played a cover of MGMT's kids. They made the song "the kooks'" style.
I love it! Well I love both versions, but at the moment, The Kooks is kicking butt!

Skins
I finished watching Skins last night.
I'm depressed because the characters aren't going to be in the next series.
There are new ones. :(
Anyways. In one of the episodes Chris was speaking to a Job Advisor.
She encouraged him not to swear. And to substitute, he ended up using P's infront of all of the curse words he used.
Here is a snippet from what I remembered to write down:
Chris: So I told him he was pitty and a pastard and he could pucking shove his pucking polo up his packside stupid prick.
JA: I think one slipped through there
Chris:...stupid punt.

Here are a few new DVDs that I've received in the past week.

Oh and I finally bought Skins today.
Pitt St failed to provide me with it but good ol' Town Hall had the dvd!

I am DISAPPOINTED
in Parramatta JBHI-FI and Liverpool JBHI-FI.
I WAS READY!
I Was Ready to BUY SKINS (seasons 1AND2) on dvd.
They both FAILED to provide the dvd for me.
Today was the first time that I've been to TWO shopping centres in one day. Well probably not but... TWO SHOPPING CENTRES JUST FOR A DVD! AND they both missed out on my money.
WHAT A SHAME.
I'm going to go to the city because I saw heaps of copies there last time I went.
I hope THEY don't fail me tomorrow. OR ELSE!!!!

Jenny and I had miraculously found our crushes.
(Umm yeah. We are quite the stalkers)
Mine had left after Year four and I was devastated.
Jenny's had her crush with this guy in year 6.
Anyways. They both changed over the past years.
And I can safely say that they both DO NOT attract us anymore.
In any way.
Jen and I have matured our taste in guys.
And well... they just don't fit in the right categories.
Weirdly, these guys kind of look like eachother.
(You'll see.)
Mind you, these guys do not know eachother.
The only relation between the two is that two friends once liked them when we were kids.
OH WELL.
Here goes!
I shall reveal what they look like.

- They are both wearing bomber jackets with hoodies.
- They are both giving YOU the finger. (YES YOU!)

Differences:
- The one on the right is showing his upper body. (Although there was a few pictures of the other guy shirtless as well... but not with his jacket!)
Seriously.
